Pat Whelan

Pat Whelan started in construction where everyone does: tearing down walls and toting lumber. He made superintendent while still in college, and after graduating from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business Economics, he started his own small construction company out of his garage in 1987. That business became extremely successful as Pat applied productivity practices, and by 2002 he had a system of controlled and repeatable processes that he quickly saw could be useful to other construction companies. He turned those practices into a project management software specifically for general construction companies in 2004, and Paskr was born.

Brett Henry

Programmer, Software Designer, Developer

Brett’s design influence has colored Paskr’s code since its conception, and in so doing has revolutionized software user-friendliness. His subtle design decision to swap out the usual icons for easy-to-identify menu options and program buttons, to take but a single example, has had an amazing effect on how easily people learn to use the program when they first start using Paskr. Brett has a degree in political science from University of Kentucky, programming experience from 17 years of self-tutelage, and an array of golf clubs and fishing rods for his days off, which are when he goes seeking those magical spots with zero bars.

Jimi Gue

IT Systems Administrator, Developer, Database Administrator

Jimi has been hooked on technology since his 9th birthday, when he unwrapped an 8-bit, 64-kilobyte Commodore 64. Everything he’s done since, professionally and personally, has revolved around that binary world of 1’s and 0’s. He’s one of the reasons Paskr’s IT consulting services are so well-reviewed by our clients – Jimi believes the most important quality of an IT professional is simply to keep up and stay educated, since today’s latest technology becomes obsolete in the blink of an eye. For the last 12 years, he’s been working with Brett to provide boutique web application and database design for Paskr’s diverse clientele.

Krista Phillips

Director of Training, Implementation and Client Support

Krista is a true believer in Paskr – she came to us because she believed it could revolutionize the construction industry. Krista holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Ohio State, and previously worked as a project manager and estimator for a commercial GC. When she was introduced to Paskr, it changed the way she worked so drastically and positively that she wanted to help spread the word. She soon became a partner and director of Paskr, and currently introduces new clients to the incredible streamlining capabilities of the software. When she’s not talking about how great Paskr is (which is pretty rare), she’s hiking, riding horses, and tutoring at-risk children in her community.

Traci VanDalsem

Training Associate

One of the reasons Paskr intuitively knows exactly what any project manager needs is because we have Traci’s insight into commercial construction project management. Traci holds a Master’s in Construction Management from the University of Oklahoma and previously worked as a PM for a small commercial construction company that specialized in tenant build-out and renovations – one of the first companies to start using Paskr software, in fact. Now she helps us implement Paskr for new clients. She has two young sons, Hawkins and Coulton, and they and their father will shortly be cheering mom in the Susan G. Komen 60-Mile Walk for a Cure.
