PASKR mobile app is available in both the Play Store and App Store. If you have used our old app, PASKR Legacy, you will need to download this new app as we are switching hosting platforms. The good news is that the new platform allows us to make updates quick and more efficiently!
Please find step-by-step instructions to install the new app below.
Step 1: Remove PASKR Legacy
If applicable, find the legacy app on your phone and uninstall it. It can be recognized by its icon with a white background and blue logo.
Step 2: Visit the App Store
Visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store depending on your phone system.
Step 3: Find the new app
Search for PASKR in your app store of choice. Find the new app with the blue background and white logo icon. Or use the links below to go directly to the app.
Step 4: Install the new app
Open the app in the store and install it on your mobile phone.
Step 5: Sign in
Log into the app with your PASKR user name and password.
Frequently Asked Questions
Main Screen Options
Q: My screen shows: daily logs, photos, planroom, punchlist, purchses, RFIs, and Time Cards. How do I see the Schedule?
A: Those are the only options on the Home Screen for the mobile app. Schedules will be found in the briefcase which is found in the Menu (3 horizontal lines) in the lower left corner.
Q: Do I have to click on the specific department to choose different projects? For example purchases.
A: Yes, click on the Feature you need, then select which project you need to enter the information.
Q: Is there anyway to upload more than one photo at a time?
A: We are looking into this.
Q: Is there a way to remove photos in the daily log that I may have put in there in error?
A: There is not a way to remove them from the Mobile App. They will be able to be deleted from the Desktop>Briefcase>Photos>Daily Log>Check the box in the photo>Gear>Delete Photo(s).
Q: When you add a contact via others into the daily log and complete information will they be saved into global directory?
A: Yes, it does add them to your contact database.
Q: Can you add multiple cost codes to an Expense/Field PO?
A: Yes, there is a + sign where you can add more lines to add multiple cost codes and distribute costs.
Q: Can the project manager change the coding on an Expense/Field PO?
A: Yes, when the project manager reviews the Expenses on the desktop prior to Approving them. If they need to be edited and another cost code selected, the project manager can make adjustments.
Q: What if a purchase is made at a store that isn’t a contact on the desktop?
A: In order to make a Vendor selection, the vendor does have to be added to the PASKR contact database in order to be selected.
Q: Do the expenses show up on the budget report for that cost code? Does it show up after PM approves or when the expense is entered?
A: Yes, when the Accountant accepts the Expense/Field Purchase and it is added to Budget Reports. (If you have an accounting integration, that is also when it pushes to your accounting software.)
Q: How did you add labor cost codes? For time sheets?
A: If you need additional Labor Cost Codes to choose from on a Time Card, you will need to notify the project manager. The project is typically built with all the labor cost codes for the project when it is in Bidding. New Cost Codes can be added through an Internal CO (or Owner CO if it is a new activity to the project that they are paying for). Once they are added they will show up to be selected on a Time Card.
Q: Now that the app is updated, will you be able to go and adjust a time card you put in? For instance someone put in 8 hours instead of 6 hours. Do you still have to delete the time card completely and re-enter to get it to sync?
A: Yes, as long as the Time Card hasn’t been approved by the project manager yet, the superintendent can edit.
Q: Is there a reason when I click on a project to add an RFI it says “failed to get RFIs or no RFIs for this project”?
A: Yes, if there are no RFI’s for the project, it will display that. To add, click the + sign to complete/submit the RFI.
Q: Do we uninstall the old app?
A: Yes, you can remove the old app from your devices once you download the new one.
